Before we begin
-
I've never had coaching before. What can I expect?
Coaching provides a confidential, non-judgemental space that's entirely focused on you. Through thoughtful questions and reflection, I'll support you in exploring your thinking, gaining new perspectives and moving forward with greater confidence. Coaching isn't about giving advice or telling you what to do - it's about helping you uncover your own answers.
What kinds of topics can coaching help with?
Coaching can support you through career transitions, major life changes, confidence, decision-making, purpose, relationships, work-life balance or simply creating space to think more clearly. You don't need to have everything figured out before we begin.
Do I need to prepare for a coaching session?
No preparation is needed. Simply come as you are and bring whatever feels important to you that day. If you're not sure where to start, we'll explore that together.
How long are sessions?
Sessions typically last around 60 minutes and can take place online or in person (for clients based in Lisbon or surrounding areas).
Are our conversations confidential?
Yes. Everything discussed during our coaching sessions remains confidential, except in rare circumstances where I'm legally required to disclose information or where there is a serious risk of harm. As part of my coach training, I also receive professional supervision, where any client discussions are fully anonymised.
You're still in training - what does that mean?
I'm currently completing my ICF-accredited ACC Transformational Coaching qualification with Animas. As part of my supervised professional practice, I work with a small number of coaching clients while continuing to develop my coaching skills under the guidance of experienced supervisors.
I bring over 12 years' experience supporting leaders, founders and professionals through periods of complexity and change, alongside my formal coach training.
Do you offer a discovery call?
Yes. I offer a complimentary 15-minute discovery call before we begin working together.
It's an informal conversation where we can discuss what's bringing you here, what you're hoping to achieve, and whether coaching feels like the right fit for you. It's also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the coaching process.
There's no pressure or obligation to continue afterwards - it's simply a chance for us to get to know one another.
How much does coaching cost?
To give you the opportunity to experience coaching without financial pressure, your initial 60-minute coaching session is offered on a donation basis. This gives us both the chance to explore whether coaching feels like the right fit for you.
If you decide you'd like to continue, we'll discuss an introductory coaching package tailored to your goals.
For clients looking to build momentum through regular coaching, I offer a six-session coaching journey at an introductory investment.
Is coaching the same as therapy?
No. Coaching focuses on the present and future, helping you move towards the goals or changes that matter most to you. It isn't a substitute for therapy, counselling or medical support, and if I believe another form of support would better meet your needs, we'll discuss that together.

Thank you for choosing to work with me.
I'm delighted you've decided to invest this time in yourself. Coaching is a collaborative process, and this agreement is designed to help us begin with shared expectations, creating a safe, confidential and supportive coaching relationship.
What is coaching?
Coaching is a thought-provoking, collaborative process that supports you in gaining greater self-awareness, exploring new perspectives and moving towards meaningful change.
My role is to create a space where you can pause, reflect and think more deeply about what matters most to you. Rather than providing advice or solutions, I'll ask thoughtful questions, challenge your thinking where appropriate, and support you in uncovering your own insights and next steps.
Coaching is future-focused and centred around your goals, values and aspirations.
Discovery call
Before committing to coaching, I offer a complimentary 15-minute discovery call.
This conversation gives us the opportunity to get to know one another, discuss what you're hoping to achieve, answer any questions you may have, and explore whether coaching feels like the right fit.
Choosing a coach is a personal decision, and it's important that you feel comfortable and supported from the outset.
There is no obligation to continue following the discovery call.
My commitment to you
As your coach, I will:
Create a safe, supportive and non-judgemental environment.
Listen with curiosity, empathy and respect.
Maintain confidentiality.
Encourage honest reflection and meaningful exploration.
Support and challenge you in a way that feels constructive and appropriate.
Uphold the ethical standards of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Your commitment
To get the most from coaching, I invite you to:
Arrive with an open mind and a willingness to reflect.
Be honest with yourself and with me.
Take responsibility for your own decisions and actions.
Be open to exploring different perspectives.
Let me know if something isn't working so we can adapt our approach together.
Confidentiality
Creating a safe and trusting environment is fundamental to coaching.
Everything discussed during our coaching sessions will remain confidential.
The only exceptions are where:
you give permission for information to be shared;
I am legally required to disclose information; or
there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or another person.
As I'm currently completing my ICF-accredited ACC Transformational Coaching qualification with Animas, I receive regular coaching supervision as part of my professional development. Any discussions within supervision are fully anonymised and remain confidential.
